Joaquin is the partner in charge of the Labor and Social Security Department. He is a member of the firm since 2000. He advises in individual and collective Labor Law, Social Security Law, HHRR and labor aspects of Immigration Law.
He provides a preventive and strategic advice in the start-up, mergers and acquisitions and in the day-by-day of the companies: reorganization processes and modification of employment conditions; drafting agreements for hierarchic personnel and international positions; expatriates; corporate policies (benefits and compensations, stock options, pension and retirement for executives, usage and control of informatics working tools, prevention and management of mobbing and harassment, alcohol and drugs in the workplace); accidents and diseases; outsourcing and services providers; disciplinary sanctions; labor audits; detection and quantification of contingencies; massive and individual dismissals; negotiation and execution of agreements; representation before administrative and judicial labor authorities; negotiation with unions and internal representatives.
Joaquín offers workshops on anti-corruption, mobbing and harassment prevention, and use of drugs/alcohol in the workplace.
His pro bono work is focused in equitable law access, and gender equality regarding paternity leave.
He has written articles and is a speaker in seminars about Labor Law. He is an active member of Human Resources committees in different chambers of commerce.
