On March 14 2017, a seminar “LGBT & Perspectives and Inclusion in the Corporate Environment”, organized by Beretta Godoy and Greenberg Traurig was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Buenos Aires. A first panel moderated by Randy Bullard (Greenberg Traurig) and integrated by Maria Jose Sucarrat (Director of the Companies Network for Diversity), Rocio Balestra (Director of the National Securities and Exchange Commission), Robert Ellison (Shearman & Sterling – Brazil) and Federico Godoy (Managing Partner at Beretta Godoy), analyzed under the perspective managers of law firms and government officials, the instance of hiring, productivity and the effects of implementing diversity policies in the workplace. The second panel included young professional lawyers: Rafhael Romero Bentos (Mattos Filho – Brazil), Ignacio Meggiolaro (MBP Partners) and Stephen Pellicia (Greenberg Traurig) who presented their views on the power of diversity policies within the work environment and support through friends, allies and colleagues. The importance of diverse firms at the time of selection and the commitment to public activities to support the LGBTI community.
