With the enactment of Law Nº5300, the City of Buenos Aires has consolidated and systematized ordinances, laws, ordinance-decrees and emergency decrees -of overall and permanent character-, which were in effect of February 28, 2014 under the format of the City of Buenos Aires Legal Digest.

The regulations included in the City of Buenos Aires Legal Digest are organized by category and are identified with the corresponding letter, namely:

A – Constitutional Law
B – Inter-jurisdictional Relations
C – Public Administration
D – Administrative Law
E – Tax Law
F – Education, Science and Technology
G – Culture
H – Public Health
I – Commerce, Industry and Services
J – Community Action
K – Labor and Social Security
L – Environment
M – Urban Planning and Housing
N – Use of Public Space
O – Transportation and Transit
P – Justice
Q – Safety and Security
R – Metropolitan Police

The Legislature of the City will receive consultations and comments that can be generated over a period of 120 consecutive days after July 31, 2015, regarding the framework in a category, the consolidation of the text, or the validity of a rule in the referred to Legal Digest. After the mentioned deadline, or once the comments are corrected, the final version of that body of law will be published. The electronic version of the Legal Digest will be available through the official website of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.
