General Resolution Nº 7/2015 will come in to force on November 2, 2015 and it will adapt the Public Registry of Commerce of the city of Buenos Aires (as per its acronym in English “PRC”)’s functions, the entity in charge of the registry of local and foreign companies, foundations and associations registered in the city of Buenos Aires, to the new Argentinean Civil and Commercial Code.
PRC ‘s new authorities presented the new resolution on July 29, 2015, where they commented that this amendment applies not only to adapt the resolution to the new Code, but also “incorporates in the regulation, its already implemented amendments through the past years”, and its modernization.
With respect to the registration of trust agreements, special provision of the sole partner corporations (as per its acronym in Spanish “SAU”), and the introduction of a new foundation, association and non-regularly incorporated companies’ regularization procedure in replacement of the actual regime, will become effective from August 3 of the current year.
