We provide legal counselling for the negotiation of financing structures for medium-and long-term mining investments and on the application for exploration permits and discovery statements in the different jurisdictions, application and management of tax promotions and exemptions, advice on legal issues related to pre-feasibility, feasibility and environmental impact studies during the different phases of each productive or transport project. We also focus our practice on planning, control and advisory services before environmental and social conflicts and provide legal counselling for the design of sustainable social management programs.
We are experienced in advising on matters related to the reimbursement of VAT free available balances and VAT anticipated refund under the investment promotion regime for capital assets and infrastructure works. We have experience in advising and procuring VAT credit refunds arising from the acquisition of goods and services for mining exploration activities by beneficiaries of the Mining Investment Promotion Regime. We have succeeded in obtaining refunds for our clients.
